C.S.I., Communicating Students’ Ideas, is an exciting project of our
L. I. F. E. Matters Youth Program


C.S.I. is offered to: Educational, Faith-based and Community-based organizations. We offer 8 to 10 week sessions at each site. Our program can be catered to meet the needs of your organization. Our classroom coaches are experienced in partnering with the youth in an effort to guide them into building healthy relationships that will assist them in becoming better family members, students and leaders.

Leadership Training
The Youth Leadership Program helps youth develop the communication and leadership skills necessary to become successful adults. As leaders, they will learn the importance of giving back by becoming involved in community service projects.

Relationship Building
In order to build strong, healthy relationships, the youth of CSI will partner with their peers, adults (teacher, parental, and mentor support), the community, and various media related organizations. These partnerships will be instrumental in students being able to create and distribute compelling “Messages to the Adults in their Lives”.

Digital/Visual Arts Program

Digital/Internet Radio - C.S.I. LIVE- youth discussing issues related to youth. A weekly online broadcast from 6pm – 7pm on KGCM Internet Radio Station, reaching our schools, community and the general public.

Publishing & Design
Publishing a web newsletter and a print magazine. Creating posters, brochures, t-shirts, pamphlets and other creative forms of online and print media.

Spoken Word, Hip-Hop & Vocal Performance and Digital Music
Participating in performance-based expression. Projects will include producing a CD compilation of all vocal work performed by students to share with others.

Broadcasting
 Creating original video programming to be distributed online as well as on DVD’s. Students will have the opportunity to create documentaries, news shows, comedy or dramatic shows, original music videos, and more.
